Changeover day is usually Saturday but we can be flexible, depending on availability.

Currency and Payment

For your convenience, we have displayed approximate sterling rates but all transactions are calculated, and should be paid for, in euros. We will explain how to do this when you book.

50% of your holiday cost is due on booking, and the balance is payable on arrival.

Possible additional costs

Fuel: The two properties are heated. Hot water is supplied by electricity. This is included in the rental price although we charge a heating supplement for bookings from October to April. This is 30 euros a week for La Bobine and 40 euros a week for L'Aiguille. Cooking is by bottled gas and the cost of this is included in the rental.

Linen: Bedlinen and towels are not included in the rental prices. You are welcome to bring your own, or we can rent linen at a cost of 12 euros per bed.

Security deposit

We make a flat charge of 100 euros (£100), payable on arrival, to cover breakages, damage, additional cleaning etc. Any balance is, of course, refunded.

Your gite is cleaned before you arrive. We expect you to leave it as you find it. In the event of this not being the case, we reserve the right to deduct the cost of additional cleaning from your security deposit.
