We know it's a tough year for everyone! To help out, we've adjusted our prices to reflect the poor euro/pound exchange rate, making our cottages even better value for a family holiday.

If you'd like to travel outside the summer school holiday period, we have a special offer for June and September. For full week bookings - take 70 euros (£60) off our 'medium' season prices for L'aiguille and 60 euros (£50) off our 'medium' season prices for La Bobine. For short breaks in L'aiguille, take 35 euros (£30) off and for La Bobine, deduct 30 euros (£25).

See the 'rates and availability' page for more information.

Our two pretty holiday cottages are on a rural village street in the heart of the ‘sept vallées’ area of France. Both have been recently renovated.

Aix-en-Issart is barely an hour’s drive on the A16 motorway from the
Calais ferry port and Eurotunnel terminal, making it an ideal location for a short break as well as a longer holiday.

La Bobine has:
* two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two singles)
* a sitting and dining room with a double sofa-bed
* a fully-fitted kitchen
* a shower room and separate loo.

L'aiguille has:
* four bedrooms (two doubles and two with two single beds)
* sitting and dining room with a double sofa bed
* two bathrooms (one bath/shower, one walk-in shower)
* a fully fitted kitchen.

The two cottages have an interconnecting door. They can be rented together for large parties (sleeping a minimum of 12 people with six bedrooms and three bathrooms). See the 'rates and availability' page for a combined rental.

The cottages form part of a courtyard with our own house and quilt studio, and look out over the garden and the river that runs through the village.

We aim to be child-friendly. Cots and highchairs are available and gates are fitted at the top of staircases. The large garden is fully enclosed and secure, and has swings and plenty of room for games.

The village bakery is 30 seconds walk so fresh croissants for breakfast and baguettes for lunch are guaranteed!
